Affiliate disclosure
Last updated: September 6, 2026
The short version
No affiliate programme is currently configured. Outbound brand links are marked sponsored and nofollow as a conservative disclosure safeguard. Before monetisation begins, this page must be updated to name the active programmes.
Which links
The "Visit" buttons and other outbound links to a reviewed company may carry affiliate tracking. They are marked with rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page source. Links to other pages on this site, and links used as citations or examples, are not affiliate links.
Programmes currently declared
None. This is a launch blocker if affiliate tracking is added elsewhere.
What commission does not buy
- A higher score, or the removal of a criticism.
- A position in a ranking, a category page or a comparison table.
- Inclusion on the site. We review companies whether or not a programme exists.
- Advance sight of a review, or the right to request changes beyond factual corrections.
Why we tell you this so prominently
Because the incentive is real and pretending otherwise would be the actual problem. A site funded by commission has a structural pull toward recommending whatever pays best. Our defence is a fixed rubric, scoring completed before commercial considerations and ranking by score only. We also say plainly when a well-paying brand is a poor choice.
Advertising and sponsorship
We do not run display advertising, sponsored posts or paid inclusion. If that ever changes, it will be labelled unmistakably and at the top of the page, not in a footer.
Trademarks
All company names, logos and trademarks referenced on this site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary. DealOtter is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.
